A Little History of YOUR Rotary ClubSomething else of which we can be proud … no other club in our District 6990 has founded more new clubs than the Rotary Club of Coral Gables.
Our Club is responsible for founding 12 new clubs in the District: South Miami, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Miami-Granada, Hialeah-Miami Springs, Southwest Miami-Kendall, and their offshoots: Perrine-Cutler Ridge, Miami Sundown, Miami-West, South Dade-Sunrise, Miami Lakes and Miami-Kendall. Contrast this to the Rotary Club of Homestead, founded in 1925, 21 years before our birth, which has founded only one Club, the Rotary Club of Pahokee, which is no longer in our District. We got good roots!
