The Rotary Club of Coral Gables has a tradition of having fun and this past 5th Friday Social was no exception! Deena Bell Llewellyn, RCCG Community Service Chair and her business partner, Lewis Aqui of Bell + Aqui Landscape Architecture, with food and wine by Elizabeth Silverman, Owner of Catering by Loveables, hosted the event at BALA's new office at 3360 Coral Way in Miami. To all the non-Rotarian guests invited, the invitation was so puzzling; folks calling to RSVP wondered if the event was on Friday the 5th or Friday the 30? What was this 5th friday invitation all about, they questioned? To clear up all the mystery, we explained "5th Friday" is a social RCCG throws only during a month having a fifth Friday! It is just another way we spread Rotary cheer through networking and 'rotating' around to each others' place of business just as Paul Harris would have it. This was President Debbie Swain's last 5th Friday of the Rotary year, and a fun time was had by all!

It was a great party - the venue was gorgeous! the company was fabulous! and Lovables food was wonderful! Thank you Deena and Lewis for inviting us.
We are happy to host one every Friday, as long as Loveables brings the food and wine. :)
