Coral Gables' Giving Tops $50,000 Last Year!

The Coral Gables Rotary Foundation
Annual Giving Report

We spend a whole lot of time and energy raising money for our Club's Foundation.  And we raise a whole lot of money too.  Bill Quesenberry, Club Treasurer for the past two years, thought that we all should know how much good Coral Gables Rotary really does in the community.

For the Rotary year just ended, our Club's Foundation has Total Assets of $116,241.85, about half of which is in the bank and the other half in an investment account.  BUT, in addition to having money in the bank that can still be given out to worthy projects here at home and abroad, take a look at what our club did with our funds last year:
  •  Scholarships                             $17,500
  • International Projects                 $17,150
  • Civic & Charity Grants                 $  3,353
  • Domestic Charities                     $  6,258
  • CG Community Foundation           $     961
  • Wine & Dine Beneficiaries            $  2,833
  • Disaster Relief                           $     650
  • RYE Student                              $     255
          Total from RFCG                     $48,960
Total from our funds in CGCF    $  4,050

            TOTAL FUNDS GIVEN               $53,010

So in the future, when you're asked to attend a fundraising event that our Club puts on, or you're asked to donate to some small, specific project on behalf of our Club - don't hesitate.  You can be sure that your money will be used for any number of the very worthwhile projects that the Rotary Club of Coral Gables supports, whether in Guatemala or Liberty City, with iPads for Soldiers or sailing lessons for disabled kids, we try to make  a difference in the world every chance we get.
Thank you all for your unending generosity.
