Installation Party
Some 60 Rotarians and their guests gathered at Seasons 52 on Miracle Mile on Monday evening to witness the formal installation of the 2013-2014 President and Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables.
Past District Governor, Past President, Past Ambassadorial Scholar Owen Freed officiated the formal ceremony - first installing President Don (and his lovely, unsuspecting wife Amanda). Owen waxed sentimental about his own term as President of our Club back in 1968, and the fact that led him to that position - he was the first Ambassadorial Scholar selected from the Coral Gables Club some twenty years earlier. That's Rotary history - and the perfect mentor to start President Don on his way for his Rotary year.
